The Skil Corporation was established in Chicago in 1924, with the invention of the circular saw - called the Skilsaw. From then right up to the present day, Skil has been developing, producing and marketing successful, professional tools. For more than 8 decades the Skil brand has been responsible for numerous innovations. As well as the circular saw, Skil's innovations include the pneumatic rotary hammer, the variable speed switch and many other inventions that help professionals to get the job done.
Their experience and knowledge are still increasing every day.
They use that experience and knowledge to develop the Skil Masters professional power tools. These power tools meet the needs of pragmatic professionals working on a wide range of building, renovation and installation projects in both residential and non-residential settings.
